DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Jan. 10, 2012) - Daytona State College’s School of Music, Entertainment and Art will host this year’s annual event that brings together the county’s best in dance performance. The concert will feature a wide range of performances from Volusia County’s middle schools, high schools and private dance studios. We invite you to enjoy the artistic displays of the county’s most talented dancers.
What: Volusia County Dances Concert
When: Friday, Jan. 20, 7:30 p.m.
Where: News-Journal Center, Davidson Theater
Admission is free to Daytona State College students as well as Volusia and Flagler County students; all others $8 per person or $15 for two. Tickets are available in advance online at www.DaytonaState.edu/TheArts and at the News-Journal Center Box Office; hours: Wednesday - Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Contact the Box Office by calling (386) 226-1927.
Tickets also will be sold the day of performance at the News-Journal Center Box Office, which opens one hour prior to performance. The News-Journal Center is located at 221 N. Beach St., Daytona Beach.
The performing arts programs at Daytona State prepare students for futures in music, drama and dance, while also providing entertainment opportunities for the community through a variety of events produced each semester.
